We are hiring an Executive Chef/Chef de Cuisine at Aqimero Restaurant!
Located in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, downtown Philadelphia, we provide exceptional experiences for our guests. Come work with our team of restaurant professionals at Aqimero Restaurant. The Executive Chef supervises and oversees all activities concerning BOH food operations, culinary staff, food cost, sanitation standards, maintenance and upkeep of kitchen equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring a high-quality finished product across all of our restaurant operations. The Executive Chef is also responsible for keeping kitchen labor and associated kitchen costs within budget. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have at least a high school diploma or GED in addition to either formal or in the field culinary training. Previous kitchen experience is required with at least 3 years of working in a similar position with supervisory responsibilities and cost control experience. Must be able to work well under pressure and be self-motivated. Must have good organizational, time management and delegation skills. Good communication skills—both written and verbal. Requires standing and carrying for long periods. This position may require lifting, carrying, pulling or pushing of approximately 21—50 pounds.
